is open to all. Our principal aims are to present theatrical and

10:22 pm Brian Riedel will update us on the the proposed creation of a Houston LGBTQ History Digitization Project. The Gay, Lesbian, Bisexual,
Transgendered, and Queer (GLBTQ) community in Houston, Texas is robust
and encompasses a rich history of many diverse people who are
proactively involved in changing laws and society mores. As the legal
struggle over individual rights continues, the capturing of history is
both timely and imperative. If we are to fully understand our current
societal privileges and needed changes, it behooves us to have an
awareness of the past. Now is the time to collect not only people’s
personal stories, but also the artifacts that are invaluable to the
researching and writing of our history. Now is the time to create an
archive that will serve the LGBTQ community and the public at large.
